While promoting the second season of ‘The Hills: New Beginnings’, Brody Jenner also talked about his ex, Kaitlynn Carter and her surprising hook-up with Miley Cyrus following their split. Here is what he had to say!
As it turns out, even though it took him by surprise, he had nothing against it.
After all, he thinks Kaitlynn should just do ‘Whatever makes her happy.’
As fans remember, Brody and Kaitlyn announced that their marriage was over in August of 2019 and only a week after, Kaitlynn was caught on camera with Miley by the paparazzi.
The two were packing the PDA on a boat vacation to Lake Como in Italy and it went viral!
It was quite surprising since Miley was married to Liam Hemsworth as far as the public knew but immediately after, the news that they had split as well, broke out!
Now, Brody told HollywoodLife that ‘It was a bit out of left field when it happened because we have been friends with Miley and Liam for a while. So when it happened it was out of the blue for sure. But ultimately [Kaitlynn] thinks it was real and she really liked her.’
So while he did not expect a romantic link between Kaitlynn and Miley, he went on to stress that it did not affect him in a negative way at all.
He explained that ‘I wasn’t upset about it at all. I like Miley, she is cool. As long as [Kaitlynn’s] happy I am good.’
It appears that the exes were able to really discuss and figure out why their marriage did not work out in the second season of the reality TV show.
